Our Home

Our home is like most others in Bangladesh, yet it is different. It is different mainly because it is very neat and clean. It is also very homely. My father has only a moderate income, yet he has managed to have a one story house with three rooms by means of parsimony and a bank-loan. He takes care to have it white-washed both within and without once a year. That gives the house a decent look. There is a small corrugated iron strucluve in front of it serves as our parlor or drawing room. A small yard separates the dwelling house from the parlor. Gnat beside the dwelling house there in a cook-house. It has brick walls and lets roof. On either side of the yard there is a kitchen garden, and in front of the parlous there in a small flower garden. My father spends all his spare time in the gardens Naturally the gardens are without weed and dry leaves and our home looks like a picture.
